Following recent coverage, additional imagery of the Burn Rubber x Reebok Ventilator “Boblo Boat” are provided, specifically an on-foot perspective.
Just to recap, this special collaboration is a homage to the ferry boats of Boblo Island Amusement Park in Ontario (now closed), which provided many memories to countless people who experienced the ride for more than 85 years. Essentially incorporating the boat’s theme, the Ventilator sports a breathable White mesh base, while Grey and Tan suede overlays are implemented on the vamp, forefoot and heel to further reinforce its upper.
All resting atop a crisp White midsole unit that’s adhered to Red/Blue outsole to coordinate with its palette, final details include Grey laces and “Burn Rubber” embroidered across the rear, with the font paying tribute to the unmistakable Boblo Island logo.
I’ve never owned the Ventilator but I appreciate its design and of course it’s a runner. I seem to like most runner silhouette from all footwear brands. Eh, that’s just me.
Cool palette nonetheless and a nice tribute to the Boblo Island Amusement Park.
