Burn Rubber x Reebok Phase 1 - Detroit Playas

Detroit-based sneaker boutique Burn Rubber will be linking up with Reebok to create a special collaboration inspired by the late and great Notorious B.I.G. In anticipation of what would have been BIG’s 46th birthday on May 21st, Burn Rubber and Reebok will be releasing a special colorway of the Reebok Phase 1. The sneaker features a mix of suede and alligator-embossed leather done in pink with a hint of reflective 3M. The shoe’s inspiration stems from the iconic lines of one of his hits from the Life After Death album Hypnotize when BIG paid homage to Detroit with…”Stink Pink Gators my Detroit players” showing his love not only for the city but for outlandish fashion choices.
