Bodega x adidas ZX Flux - 2001: A Space Odyssey

To follow up on a recent sneak preview, it turns out that the upcoming Bodega xadidas ZX Flux collaboration is a special homage to Stanley Kubrick’s iconic science fiction film — 2001: A Space Odyssey — in which the themes of human evolution, artificial intelligence and extraterrestrial life are explored. Invigorated by the motion picture’s ambience, the ZX Flux flaunts a predominantly Black upper constructed of woven nylon to mimic outer space, while contrasting hits of Yellow, Red and Orange for the lining, rear and outsole further pronounce its understated aesthetic. In addition, suede and leather is utilized on the tongue and heel stabilizer to add more depth, as its White midsole with minute speckles provide a juxtaposing element to deep space in the film. Look for this special edition Bodega x adidas ZX Flux “2001: A Space Odyssey” to arrive at Bodega first on July 18th, followed by a global release at a later date.
