The latest three way collaboration comes from BAIT, G.I. Joe and New Balance in what’s being known as the “Roadblock.” This projects may take lots of you back to those good ‘ol days when you would play outside with your favorite action figures. Utilizing the New Balance 710 as the silhouette of choice, the BAIT x G.I. Joe x New Balance 710 “Roadblock” is an aggressive sneaker based on the G.I. Joe team’s heavy artillery expert, famously portrayed by The Rock in the movie series. The reasoning behind choosing the 710 is because of its parallels to a traditional military boot. The sneaker features a sand-colored upper, with wolverine suede and durable ballistic nylon. Digi desert camo print has been laser etched into the suede panels to tie in the G.I. Joe theme. Finishing details include a red and white midsole with a icy blue-speckled midsole.
