BAIT x Bruce Lee x Onitsuka Tiger x Corsair Jeet Kune Do

Bruce Lee may have passed away back in 1973, but his life is still being celebrated today in various ways. The exceptional martial artist would have turned 75 years old in 2015 and West Coast retailer Bait is joining forces with Onitsuka Tiger and Bruce Lee Enterprises to celebrate Bruce Lee’s upcoming 75th birthday which lands on November 27th. The Bait x Bruce Lee x Onitsuka Tiger x Corsair Jeet Kune Do is inspired by the philosophy and martial arts technique of Bruce Lee. The reason that the Corsair silhouette was selected was because of its similarities in design to the kung-fu slip-on that Bruce Lee was known to wear. The sneaker features a black and navy upper done in premium suede and leather that is meant to resemble the classic Kung Fu uniform that Bruce Lee used to wear. The details that really make this sneaker one-of-a-kind include a dragon engraved across the upper, a gold debossing of Bruce Lee’s iconic kickman and character name on the heels, and insoles branded with the designated the Bruce Lee 75th Anniversary logo. The BAIT x OT x Bruce Lee 75th Anniversary Corsair Jeet Kune Do will retail for $120 and will release on November 27th at all 7 Bait Chapter stores and online at baitme.com via online raffle.
