Concepts goes full throttle on their collaborations. For their latest Asics collaboration they went crazy with their supporting store installation as well.

May 2nd, Concepts will release their newest Asics Gel Lyte 3 collaboration inspired by the Boston Tea Party. For those who don’t remember their 8th grade American History class:

The Boston Tea Party was a pivotal piece of our nation’s history. In 1773, the Sons of Liberty battled the British Parliament by attacking a ship and spilling its an entire shipment of tea into the Boston harbor. The act of course, was a spark to the American Revolution.

The sneakers are clearly patriotic in nature. Red, white and blue with alternating silver and gold Asics branding. The story here though is the beautiful in store installation Concepts has put together in their New York City space. They have completely recreated the scene in one of the most creative executions in sneaker retail history – at least that I am aware of.  Check out the photos above and let us know in the comments if this a collaboration you will be going after.
