The Three Stripes had one hell of a 2015. One major reason for their concurrent success is the adidas Ultra Boost. Considered by many to be the best shoe of 2015, if any sneaker deserves a trophy, it’s the adidas Ultra Boost. An artist by the name of Lee Chun recently unveiled a brand new project that pays homage to the Ultra Boost by way of several different sculptures of the shoe. The images you see above shoe three different sculptures. All three sculptures are made out of ceramic, with the first two being hand-painted with Chinese porcelain-style detailing along with real gold plating. The third pair also being the most noteworthy, is completely dipped in gold and was made especially for the Taipei marathon. Check out the images above and let us know what you think about these adidas Ultra Boost sculptures. How much would you pay to completely cover your Ultra Boost in gold?
