This special edition of the Air Jordan 5 Low was designed by Michael Wilson who was diagnosed with Krabbe disease, a severe neurological condition. Design details on the Air Jordan 5 Low Doernbecher include his favorite meal, mac and cheese, debossed on the toe and collar as well as a matching dubrae. The sneaker also comes with laser eyes under the mesh side panels which represent the super power of his choice. Additional details include “Take Flight” branding on the lateral, heel pull tabs, his initials “MDW” on the heels underneath the Jumpman logos, a multicolor liner and a translucent outsole housing a graphic.
