When Nike places a theme or colorway on a sneaker they tend to roll with the punches and give a few of their silhouettes that same treatment. Such is the case with the recent “Wheat” colorway that recently released on the Air Foamposite One. Following suit and also receiving the “wheat” colorway are the Air Force 1 Mid and Air Max 1 (which are both scheduled to release on November 1st). But you didn’t think that Nike was going to stop there, did you?
Up next to receive the popular Timberland boot treatment is the Nike Air Trainer 1. The popular Bo Jackson trainer uses the same wheat colored suede upper and adds a little bit of darkness with hits of brown hitting the midsole and inner lining. Boot laces and a gum outsole round out the look in this Fall appropriate pair of Air Trainer 1s that does not yet have a release date. What do you think, is Nike overdoing the “Wheat” theme? Let us know what you think down below.
