Per Nike: The stories told about Gary Payton’s game span across regional borders throughout the United States. He spent respectable amounts of time – and garnered countless accolades – in Oregon, California, and Florida among others. However, it was Seattle, Washington, where Gary Payton evolved from a player into a legend. And there’s no mistaking which colors the Glove will always be best remembered in – green and yellow. We present the Air Zoom Flight The Glove. The Glove stays true to original form by featuring a zippered shroud and monkey-paw technology for increased lateral support. However, this marks the first time that a graphic has been applied to the design. Inspired by a barrier breaking sonic wave, the print recalls GP’s glory days in Seattle. Payton’s signature can be found stitched on the shroud’s closure along with his nickname (“GP”) and number (“20″) on the shroud’s sides.
