Spike Lee’s latest sneaker with Jordan Brand recently came out and it looks like there’s plenty of more colorways on the horizon. Today we take at two upcoming versions that will go by the name of Ghost Green and Dunk From Above. Hoping to have a big 2016, the Air Jordan Spike 40 hopes these two colorways start 2016 on the right track.
The first colorway of the Air Jordan Spike 40 will be a part of the “Dunk From Above” collection consisting of a colorway consisting of gold, navy and white. Gold takes care of the majority of the base, while the navy helps contrast the upper. White can be seen on the midsole as well as in the branding of the shoe. The second pair is dubbed the “Ghost Green”. The version had a red upper contrasted by the black accents and the Ghost Green placed on the branding of the shoe. Nike Air appears on the heel, while Jumpman branding can be found on the tongue. Expect the “Dunk From Above” to drop in February and the “Ghost Green” to be available in March. Cop or drop? The Air Jordan Spike 40 is a very generic looking sneaker, man. I feel like it has no direction or balance, it’s just…bland. No good, man. No good.
