While its more notable releases consisted of a collaboration with Public School and for Black History Month, the newly-introduced Air Jordan Horizon is rendered in a new finish to celebrate the 2016 NBA All-Star festivities.
Defined by its woven upper, the component bears a distinctive triangular/tribal-esque pattern in vibrant tones of red, green, yellow, blue and more, while accents of white offsets the vivid presentation. The colorful design is perfectly juxtaposed against tonal Black, with the understated tone more prominent for its leather lining, laces and midsole unit. Additional pops of Blue and Red can also be seen on the outsole, while miniature yellow Jumpman branding is applied on the tongue tab.
With a retail price tag of $185, you can find this latest iteration of the silhouette at select JB and Nike accounts on Sunday, February 14th.
I’m on and off with this silhouette. I like it mostly in tonal finishes, but this pair is appealing as well. Maybe because of its theme. Although, I wouldn’t purchase one for myself, I do admire the simple profile.
