The Pantone colorway was made popular by the Air Jordan 11 a few years back and made its retail debut a couple of years ago. Now the bright shade of blue will be making an appearance on another Air Jordan retro this weekend.
Scheduled to release on June 11, 2016, the Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone is sure to be one of the brightest retros of the year and surely the Summer. Covered in a University Blue leather all throughout the upper, more hits of blue can be seen on the midsole branding, tongue, and laces. Contrasting White is then seen on the sole unit and the “23” branding on the heel. Lastly we see hits of Black on the inner liner, tongue tag and the globe on the heel.
Who plans on picking up a pair this Saturday for $170? If you’d like to see more images and information regarding this release make sure to visit our official Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone launch page for more.
If you buy these kicks you’ll definitely get noticed, but this colorway is just too bright for me. Plus I’m not even a fan of the Air Jordan 9.
