The long wait for the 2016 Summer Olympics is finally over as the opening ceremony takes place today which will be followed by the first day of competition tomorrow.
To kickoff the international celebration Jordan Brand will be launching a new colorway of the Air Jordan 7. Known as the Tinker Alternate colorway, this Air Jordan 7 was originally designed by Tinker Hatfield at the same time he created the original Olympic colorway. Michael Jordan had the option to choose from the two designs and he ultimately went with the Olympic pair. The Air Jordan 7 Tinker Alternate uses the patriotic color scheme of white, red and blue and also ads hits of gold that provide a nice pop.
The entire family will be able to pick up their pair on August 6th for a retail price of $190 for men, $140 for GS, $80 for PS, and $60 for TD.

Do I like this colorway? Yes. Do I like it enough to spend $190 on it? Nope. I’ll just admire it from a distance.
