The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, concludes this Sunday, August 21st, and to commemorate the global sporting event, a special variation of the Air Jordan 5 is set to be offered.
Evoking the spirit of champions, the basketball sneaker is essentially treated in the first-place gold hue, which is prominent on the tongue, lace lock and the shark tooth-inspired component across its midsole unit. The model’s majority tone consists of pristine white for its leather upper, while contrasting black accents adorn the midsole unit and inner lining, as it’s topped off with an icy translucent outsole.
Retailing for $190 — GS (3.5Y – 7Y), PS (11c – 3Y) and TD (2c – 10c) sizes are listed at $140, $80 and $60, respectively.
You can find it all at select JB and Nike stockists starting Saturday, August 20th.

I’m a fan of the silhouette in general. I really like the execution on this pair. I’m all for the clean upper and how the gold accents are subtle.
