Jordan Brand will be releasing a special version of the Air Jordan 5 inspired by the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. The colorway might be familiar, but the design, not so much. Dubbed the Air Jordan 5 NRG Fresh Prince, this iteration of the model opts for an Air Jordan 5 Grape color scheme as White, Grape Ice, Black, and New Emerald can all be found on the leather shoe. What really gives the shoe the Fresh Prince vibes is the decision to remove the customary lacing system by sealing the lace holes, resulting in a slip-on design, much like Will used to wear on your favorite 90’s sitcom. Other details on the shoe include the “West Philadelphia” text underneath the tongue, Nike Air branding on the heels and Fresh Prince inspired insoles.
