This upcoming release dubbed the Air Jordan 4 Dunk From Above, pays homage to Michael Jordan’s ability to take flight. Jordan took flight thousands of time over his long illustrious career, and now this Air Jordan 4 pays homage to all those rim-shattering occasions.
The look of the Air Jordan 4 Dunk From Above is said to be inspired by the World War II fighter jet plane, which makes perfect sense being that the fighter jet plane also took flight every time it was deemed necessary. The Air Jordan 4 is made out of a premium leather upper coming in a Midnight Navy colorway. Offsetting the tonal upper are the Golden Yellow hits strategically placed on the eyelets, inner lining, and the Jumpman branding on the tongue. Additional accents are found by the golden colored stitching placed on the outline of the shoe. In addition to the Golden Yellow hits, there are also white accents found on the netting on the side panels and the entire midsole. Completing the look and giving it a classic feel is none other than the gum bottom seen below. Set to drop on March 19th, 2015 for $190, let us know if this Air Jordan 4 is currently under your radar.
I really wish the leather was tumbled like the Air Jordan 4 Tech Grey, it would have made the shoe a lot better. With that being the case, I still really like the shoe, and there’s a good chance that I’ll still be picking up a pair once release day comes along.
