Following Jordan Brand’s recent image of Team USA yesterday, which unveiled the new Air Jordan 31 on Carmelo Anthony and Jimmy Butler, the forthcoming model is given a closer look, as it’s showcased on the feet of Chicago Bulls’ star guard, Jimmy Butler once again.

Dressed in a USA-themed colorway that correlates with the upcoming 2016 Summer Games in Rio, the basketball sneaker’s distinctive aesthetic takes cues from the iconic AJ 1 with a refined woven upper and the addition of Swooshes across its side panels. This particular pair will be seen on both Jimmy Butler and Carmelo Anthony throughout the Olympics.

Stay tuned for the official unveiling of the silhouette tomorrow, July 20th.

Author’s Take

I’m a fan of the theme, but, not the sneaker much. I do like the cleaner look overall, but, I’m not even tempted in purchasing a pair.
