The first two colorways of the Air Jordan 29 released this past weekend headlined by the “Team Orange” colorway that contained a HUGE Jumpman logo embedded into the woven upper. Today we previewed the Jordan Brand holiday collection that featured upcoming Jordan Brand sneaker releases that consisted of a couple of retro 13’s, a retro 6, a leather woven Jordan Future and a few new colorful iterations of the Jordan 29.
Here we will take closer look at the Pink and Teal colorway of the Jordan 29 that has been dubbed the “River Walk”. The names derives from the colors that appeared on the jerseys of the 1996 NBA All-Star game that took place in San Antonio, Texas, where Michael Jordan took home the MVP award.. There is a “River Walk” in San Antonio that serves as a tourist attraction and was also the motif of the ’96 All Star Game. The shoe utilizes a mix of Teal and Pink on the woven upper with a White Jumpman on the heel and is finished off by black on the midsole, inner lining and laces.
Expect this new colorway of the Air Jordan 29 to release on October 11th at Jordan Brand retailers for $225.
