While Nike unveiled their extensive line of commemorative footwear for this year’s NBA All Star event, Jordan Brand presents its own offerings with the “Pearl” pack. First highlighted by the Air Jordan XX9 alongside three other models, the overall design, as suggested, draws inspiration from the pearl – considered the queen of gems with its pristine hue and organic composition. Comprised of a reengineered FlightPlate and one-piece woven upper, this latest variation of the Air Jordan XX9 dons a predominantly White hue across its entirety, reminiscent of the precious pearl. Accentuated with Wolf Grey and Reflective Silver accents seen on the Jumpman logo across its heel and “23″ branding on its tongue tab, the entire White base is complemented nicely by an icey translucent outsole unit detailed with subtle Teal markings on its frontal portion.
