The Air Jordan 2011 is set to mark an evolution in the Air Jordan line with its modular sole system, however, that is not going to stop Jordan Brand from giving us new colorways that deserve just as much attention. Seen here is the AJ2011 in a blackout, or Black/Black colorway, first seen on the feet of Dwyane Wade against the Knicks in Madison Square Garden.
The new look replaces the usual patina leather on the upper with a glossy black patent leather and mixes it with black leather near the laces. The black mesh tongue also gets into the patent leather party near the logo, and does a nice job of highlights the upper. Finally, a translucent outsole sits below and completes the design.
