It is believed that this colorway of the Air Jordan 2 is inspired by the said character from Spike Lee’s film Do The Right Thing. The connection with the character/movie comes with the accents colors that are the same ones used on the “Bed Stuy Do Or Die” shirt that Radio Raheem is seen wearing in the movie.
