It’s become an Air Jordan tradition to release an Air Jordan 11 during the holidays, and little by little the prices tend to rise year by year. Last year, the Air Jordan 11 ‘Legend Blue’ released with a price tag of $200. Guess what, if history has taught us anything, you should expect another price bump for the upcoming Air Jordan 11 set to release at the end of the year.
This years Air Jordan 11 release pays homage to the legendary 95-96 Chicago Bulls, who finished the season with a record breaking 72-10 record while going on to win the NBA championship. There are no confirmed details regarding the upcoming Jordan 11, but a plethora of rumors and descriptions suggest that the upcoming Air Jordan 11 is set to receive somewhat of a “Space Jam” vibe with perhaps some red hits taking care of the branding. We have seen photoshopped images of what people think it will look like (see above), but nothing has been confirmed.
The reason for this article is not to continue adding hype to the shoe anymore, but to let you know that Jordan plans to hike up the price up to $220. $220?! My question to you is, when is enough, enough? What is your max price point when it comes to paying for some Air Jordans? Would you pay, say $250? $300? Or are you over it? I know what my answer is, but I’m curious to hear yours. Let us know where you stand when it comes to discussing the inflation of sneakers.
