We are officially less than a month away from what may be the biggest sneaker release of 2015. Yeah, you know what I’m talking about, the annual Air Jordan 11 that releases around Christmas every year.
This year it will be a brand new colorway that pays homage to the Chicago Bulls’ 1995-96 season in which they accomplished a historic 72-10 record. This premium Air Jordan 11 features a buttery tumbled leather on the upper instead of the traditional ballistic nylon mesh that we’re accustomed to seeing. The patent leather that wraps around the entire mudguard has been done in an almost iridescent look for a unique look. The midsole has then been done in white with the outsole coming in a translucent milky white. Red detailing has then been added on the Jumpman by the heel, the tongue, insole and the writing on the inside of the tongue.
Expect the Air Jordan 11 72-10 to release on December 19th for a retail price of $220. Is this sneaker a must-have for you or do you think that Jordan Brand didn’t come strong enough with the colorway? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and check in with our Air Jordan 11 72-10 hub page for any updates.
I picked up my very first Air Jordan 11 this year and it happened to be the classic bred/playoff colorway. If that colorway wasn’t so similar to this one I would have strongly considered buying a pair. Unfortunately I don’t see the reasoning behind paying $220 plus tax for pretty much the same shoe.
