The Air Jordan 1 “Bred” colorway returns later on this month as part of this year’s Retro High OG series. In the spirit of it’s preceding colorways, this silhouette remains true to it’s 1985 original format with Nike Air branding in place of the Jumpman logo from the later years. The Bred colorway is arguably the most popular of the Air Jordan 1 model and was notorious in the 1980’s for being banned from NBA games. Michael Jordan was fined $5,000 per game for wearing the Black and Varsity Red pair, having not been up to code. Being one of the most pivotal basketball shoes in history, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bred” returns at retailers on December 28, 2013.
