2015 brought the return of the Air Jordan 1 High OG Chicago, now 2016 will bring us this brand new Air Jordan 1 Low OG Chicago. Although the low-top model doesn’t have the same hype behind it as the high-top, it’s still one that should not be overlooked.
The shoe will share the same color blocking as the Air Jordan 1 High Chicago. The only difference is that it comes in low-top form. Coming in a leather upper, white appears on the side panels, tongue and toebox, while the red can be seen on the heel, eyestay and toecap. Black accents are found on the laces, lining and Nike Swoosh. When it comes to the branding, being that it’s an OG version of the shoe, the tongue will indeed have the Nike branding on it, while the heel has the Jordan Wings logo on it. Completing the look is the white midsole and red outsole combination. Set to release on February 14th for $130, who is looking to get a pair?
The more I see it, the more I’m intrigued in getting pair. It looks pretty clean, and as a fan of the Air Jordan 1 Chicago colorway, I think these may end up being in my collection.
