After weeks and months of speculation (and a super limited release in Las Vegas earlier this month), Nike has finally given us an official release date for the Air Jordan 1 ″Pinnacle.” Expected to release on Saturday, May 30th (the same day as the Chicago 1s), Nike has added the gold-plated Air Jordan 1 to their official release calendar. The official colorway is listed as Black/Metallic Gold-Metallic Summit White. With a price tag of $400, you can expect only a limited amount of pairs to be available, so make sure that you’re quick with the trigger finger if you’re hoping to grab a pair. There is no doubt that this is a DOPE sneaker from Jordan Brand. Everything from the python textured upper to the 24K gold detailing and the nifty dust bag just screams limited and luxurious, but $400?? Really? I hope none of you younger sneakerheads with no jobs are asking your moms or pops for money to buy this shoe.
