The iconic Air Jordan 1 in its classic Bred/Banned colorway which first debuted in 1985, will finally be arriving to retailers this weekend.

Renowned for violating the league’s uniform code when worn on the court, the model is simply defined by black and red covering its premium leather construction. While this pair mimics its 1985 counterpart, this 2016 variation, however, does not feature the distinctive ‘X’ detail on the heel, which was a prominent element on the 2011 edition. Although, it’s interesting to note that the classic ‘Nike Air’ branding has been implemented on the tongue.

Topped off with the iconic wings logo across its ankles, a clean white midsole unit and red outsole — you can find the model at JB and Nike accounts worldwide starting Saturday, September 3 for $160.

GS sizes (3.5y – 7y) will be offered as well and retail for $120.
