What was initially believed to be a ComplexCon exclusive now appears to be getting a wider release date. Nike has confirmed (11/22/2017) that they will be releasing the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Gold Top 3 on Cyber Monday. Shoes will be available internationally as well as at select retailers all around the country (still waiting confirmation that they will also drop on Nike SNKRS).
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Gold Top 3 comes with an upper done in a combination of White, Black, and Gold patent leather. Just like the OG Top Three colorway, the color blocking of the left and right shoe are asymmetrical, resulting in a very unique look and feel. White rubber midsoles and mismatched Black & Gold outsoles complete the look of the shoe.
This is what Nike had to say about the release:
“Using the iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette as a canvas, many colorways have come to represent stories much bigger than just a style code. When combined with the right energy, grouping together colorways can accomplish more than just paying tribute to past favorites; it can create a new classic altogether.
Following the instant success of the Air Jordan 1 Top 3 Pick in 2016 comes a reimagination of three popular gold-, black- and white-based models. First released at ComplexCon, this interpretation of the Jordan 1 features a sleek patent leather on the upper.”
