Ahmad Bradshaw Wins COD MW3 Grudge Match Against Rob Gronkowski in Jordan Flight 1

After this year’s Superbowl, Patriot fans have been trying to find a way to get back at the New York Giants.Last week Activision tapped the Patriot conscience when they invited out a few members of the media to a virtual grudge match in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 between the teams, using Ahmad Bradshaw and Rob Gronkowski as representatives. But this wasn’t just your regular game of Call of Duty. The two would play the new Xbox 360 Modern Warfare 3 “Collection 1” DLC Pack  and the winner would have the bragging rights of being the best in COD.

While I am no professional in COD:MW3, I sat down on the sticks for a game and was quickly handed a swift beat down by some of the other media in the room. Considering I was there for the sneakers and they were all gamers, I didn’t feel bad at all. Specially considering that the pair of Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement that I was rocking were almost the flyest kicks in the room. I was beat out by a pair of Air Jordan 11 Concords.

Once the actual match between the two got under way, I started to focus my attention, not on the game, but on the kicks they were wearing. Unfortunately, Rob Gronkowski is still recovering from his injury and was still rocking his boot on one foot and a Reebok Zigtech in white/blue on the other. Ahmad Bradshaw on the otherhand was rocking an unreleased pair of Jordan Flight 1 in Light Graphite/Black – Stealth – White paired with a nice pair of Jordan basketball shorts.

Back to the grudge match. As the battle went on, you could tell that both players were comfortable on the sticks, but there could only be one winner. The first and second game went to Rob which definitely started to worry Ahmad. However, after a quick win in the third and fourth game, things started to settle a bit. For the final game, the entire room was on edge. The focus of both players was ramped up to 10 and they were both eerily quite as the game went on. Unlike the last 4 games that were won pretty heartily both their respective player, this last game was close. Ultimately, Ahmad Bradshaw came out on top and once again established dominance over the new England Patriots.

After the match, I asked Ahmad about his love for sneakers and what his collection was like. As you would suspect, he had a strong affinity for Air Jordan. He was honest enough to say that he wasn’t really a sneakerhead, but that he does love Jordan Brand, Luis Vuitton, and Gucci. When asked what he was rocking on his feet, Ahmad showed an just released pair of Jordan Flight 1 that are available now for $100.
