Although it’s barely January and the adidas Ultra Boost ST was only recently introduced, I have a good feeling about this shoe in 2016. Considered to be somewhat of an upgrade to the orginal Ultra Boost, this ST version will now come rocking a grey upper with hits of green to give the shoe some life.
The adidas Ultra Boost ST is meant to be a Ultra Boost version with added stability. If you take a look at the medial side of the midsole you will notice that it comes with what adidas is calling a “tuned energy” column. This is meant to help people who suffer from overpronation stay a bit more balanced and leveled. This colorway will come in a grey Primeknit upper complimented by the hits of green found on the “tuned energy”, laces, and a small part of the Primeknit construction placed on the side of the toebox. Available now for $180, let us know what you think about the newest adidas offering.
Although I don’t suffer from overpronation, I think I like this ST better than the OG Ultra Boost version. I love the fact that it comes with an actual tongue which should be easier to put on for people who have wide feet (like me).
