It seems that the actual Marvin The Martian-inspired Air Jordan 7 may see a release sometime this year, as another set of images showcasing the purported silhouette have leaked online.
Designed in celebration of Warner Bros. and Jordan Brand’s partnership which has spanned over 23 years, as well as the Air Jordan 7’s 23rd anniversary, this forthcoming variation of the iconic sneaker is the actual tribute to the Looney Tunes character unlike the previously released Air Jordan 7 “Barcelona Nights.” Although both bear a strikingly similar palette, this rendition inherits Marvin the Martian’s signature hues imbued throughout, with a predominantly Black composition, alongside Red accents on the tongue, midsole and ankle area.
Additional pops of Lime Green and Purple are applied on the rear, outsole and lining to further encapsulate the theme overall. Still not confirmed, stay tuned in to KicksOnFire for further updates regarding a release date of the Air Jordan 7 “Marvin The Martian.”
Compared to the recent Barcelona Nights, I would prefer this model instead. Obviously since this is the actual Marvin the Martian-inspired colorway (possibly). But I like the addition of more Red throughout.
