Aside from reinterpreting the 580, 999, 1600 and others, the New Balance 530 returns this Spring/Summer 2015 with one of its cleanest variations yet.
While it doesn’t host a variety of colors, which is synonymous with warm weather, the model is executed in a simple monochromatic aesthetic, as Grey, White and Black are predominant across its entirety. Comprised of mesh along its collar, vamp and toe box, suede and leather overlays reinforce the upper, which is notably found on the toe cap, medial and heel counter.
Further pronounced by 3M trim at the heel tabs and Black “N” logos on the quarter panels, the stylish runner is topped off by a ENCAP-cushioned sole unit that delivers superb comfort and traction upon every step.
Probably one of the most appealing 530s I’ve seen so far. The design itself is quite nice, but this colorway is just an instant classic in my opinion.
Perfect everyday wearability. Go ahead and purchase a pair.
