The Air Jordan 7 (VII) Original (OG) - Black / Dark Charcoal - True Red were released in April of 1992 and retailed for $125. They feature a suede upper, which explains why these look so wornout, as that is what happens to the suede under extreme weather conditions and overall aging. They feature purple and red trim along the midsole, heel tab, and inner lining, which features a multi-colored design. The history of the Air Jordan 7 (VII) is interesting, as the lines are inspired by an African Art poster that Tinker Hatfield purchased in Portland, Oregon, which further shows how he a design genius, with the ability to be inspired by almost anything. So, the Air Jordan 7 (VII) is influenced by Western African tribal patterns, which were on the poster.
