The�Air Jordan 22 (XX2 or XXII) draws inspiration from the F-22 Raptor Strike Fighter. When you look at the F-22 Raptor you see the light camo spots and sharp aerodynamic cuts that can cut through the air like ice. Some of these characteristics of the F-22 can be seen on the Air Jordan 22 (XXII). These also feature a clear, rubber outsole which wraps around the toe and sides, which is great for traction and pivoting. Other technical specifications include a phylon midsole, new and improved I.P.S. technology, and a diamond shape and extended heel counter that protects even the most vulnerable athlete from a rolled heel.
