The Air Jordan 13 (XIII) Original (OG) Low - Navy / Metallic Silver - Black - Carolina Blue were released in 1998, retailing for $130. They feature a low top design, constructed from a combination of leather, durabuck, and 3M reflective material. The 3M reflective material is actually located under the blue mesh, and lights up the room when hit by direct light. The Carolina blue accents can be seen on the Jumpman logos. The white midsole area contrasts greatly from the rest of the shoe, drawing even more attention to them. The outsole features a black / blue / white color scheme with a modified herringbone traction pattern, which provides great grip. The only fault about these is that they do not feature the green hologram at the heel, which is only seen on the mid versions of the Air Jordan 13 (XIII).
