Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro Low - Taxi (White / Black - Taxi)

The Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro Low - Taxi (White / Black - Taxi) were released on May 22, 2004, and retailed for $115. They feature a white and black upper constructed from leather and embossed lizard print. They feature an all black sole, with a modified herringbone pattern on the bottom, with small grooves, which are great for traction. The stitching pattern on the upper is inspired by the “Nisshoki”, which is the Japanese rising sun flag, as well as a 19th century women’s dress boot. The stitched leather radiates outward like sun rays, and this theme extends all the way to the arch of the shoe. These, along with the Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro Low - Obsidian (Obsidian / University Blue - White), made great Summer shoes, as low tops always go well with shorts.
