The Air Jordan 1 (I) - Black / Varsity Red are the definition of “Old Skool”.  Originally released in March of 1985, they retailed for a measly $64.99, a price that we would all love to see today next to a pair of Air Jordans.  These were the start of a beautiful era. They have been the inspiration for many shoes, as others have created shoes which featured many similarities to these. They were even banned because according to Jordan, “They didn’t have any white in them”, and he was even fined every time he laced them up. So not only are these pretty to look at, but they were part of a small movement, and are highly adored by Jordan fans.
