This model is, arguably, the most frequently seen and well known of the Vans range. The Slip-On model was part of the Era design and it was first introduced in 1979. Wit the help of skateboarders and BMX riders, it soon become the rage in Southern California. In 1982 the Vans Slip-On gained international attention and appeal when the shoe was worn by Sean Penn in the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Today, these shoes are seen all over the world in myriad colors and styles.
