The Nike Dunk SB Low – Premium SB Hawaii was created for the people of Hawaii, and to show respect Pele, the Hawaiian Goddess of Volcanoes. It is said that she could cause earthquakes by simply stomping her feet and cause volcanic erruptions by digging with the Pa’oe. They feature an outline of the small island located on the rear side panel. The colors refer to that of a volcanic eruption, and this shoe is a symbol of Hawaii.
