The Slipstream, a basic basketball shoe from the 80’s, featured all of Puma’s latest technologies. Puma also released an edgier shoe known as The Beast, the Slipstream’s “alter- ego”. The first reissue of The Beast featured fake animal skin/ fur, an idea which has since been used by other companies.
