This shoe was designed to celebrate a true sports athlete and icon. Pele is arguably the greatest soccer player of all time, and his signature helped to launch an entire range of shoes and apparel for Puma. It was released in the energetic Brazilian colors, but it basically looked like a cross between the Puma Suede and Puma Dallas, with a modified sole. The tread rose up around the sole, giving it much better traction.
