The Puma Disc was a testament to Puma technological expertise, as it eliminated the need for a lacing system. The adjustable disc allowed the user to alter the fit of the shoe and was a breakthrough in shoe technology. The outsole featured DuPont’s Hypalon rubber for maximum cushioning and shock absorption. The upper was made of a combination of mesh and Aeroprene, which allowed form a great amount of flexibility.
