For the casual wearer, the Nike Windrunner was a running shoe for them. Over the years, Nike has experimented with many different unique features such as imitation elephant-skin prints, a nubuck upper and nylon / mesh combinations.
In the early 1990s, Nike stopped producing the Windrunner but then decided to reissue it in 1999 in a few different colorways. A few years later, Special Nike Co.Jp models surfaced the public.
