Similar to the Air Tailwind, the Nike Air Epic also featured a full length Air midsole and the Air Wedge, a stabilizing device. In 2003, Nike decided to re-release them but with one minor change: a ‘Nike’ replaced the ‘Air’ on the heel patch.
Nike released a special edition for London based store “Foot Patrol”. The shoe featured the store’s branding colorways and details of a London taxi on the tongue.
