Nike has released many skateboarding shoes since Nike started the Nike SB line in March, 2002. Nike first introduced the line by taking the Nike Dunks and altering them slightly to make them into SB shoes - the Nike Dunks SB.

The Nike Delta Force SB is yet another Nike shoe that was transformed into Nike SB skateboarding shoes. The Nike Delta Force SB was first sold in summer of 2004 and the Nike Delta Force SB has been made in a six colorways so far.

The Nike Delta Force was first released as a basketball shoe as the Nike Delta Force 3/4. The Nike Air Delta Force also has the same outsole as the famous Air Jordan 2.

There are many rumors that the Nike Delta Force SB has been axed as a Nike skateboarding shoe. Sales have not been as great for this model as others and has often been clearanced for as low as $25.
