Whenever Nike is about to release a shoe that introduces new technology, people like to say that Nike is “about to get they loot on”. The Air Zoom Ultraflight was constructed and shown to a small focus group to determine whether it was ready to be released.  But it was missing one thing.  So back to the lab it went. What Aaron Cooper, the designer, and his team came out with was an evolution in shoe technology. A lighter shoe constructed from an innovative synthetic stretch leather [that acts as a molding] into a clear plastic shell which allows the inside of the shoe to be viewed by all.  The shoe was both on time and ahead of its time at the same time. Say that three times real fast!
