The Nike Air Max Elite features a semi- circular clear midsole built like a hairpin curve that takes up 80% of that area of the shoe’s outer sole and gives it that “jump jet” similarity.  It is leathered out, with a full length bubble insole that allows you to view the thermoplastic pods that sit inside.
