The game was getting boring! Everything was either being retroed or an old skool uproar would take the lead. The shoe game needed a shake down. There were certainties about releases that were ultimately reliable. First, they were going to be leather 99 % of the time, and 99% of the time they were going to be red, blue, grey, black or white. Then came the Hyperflight Remix aka the Nike Air Hyperflight II. It was there to shake up the shoe game. “15 different colors!?!” The design was disturbing to some, with its shiny coating, and liquidized synthetic outsole. It was something straight out of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”.
