Oh yeah…I think this is considered high top. It features Nike AIR technology and has superior cushioning all around the top of the shoe. Even the tongue extends past the side ankle supports. The lacing system of the Nike Air Command Force reaches all the way up to the top, allowing the wearer to secure their ankle even tighter, and at the same time, the shoe has pizzazz. It took a while to be accepted by people outside “white America”. First of all, many people living in urban areas, including project housing and the hood saw David Robinson as being soft. Besides, they wondered how a player from a football- driven state could sell a shoe to a company’smost targeted audience….basketball fans? All it took was a great marketing plan, known as Mr. Robinson’s neighborhood, to do the trick. Criticism lightened up, and smiles grew as the world embraced the gentle giant.
